Mavado

David Constantine Brooks, born on the 30th of November 1981, internationally known by his stage name Mavado, is a Jamaican deejay, singer and songwriter who hails from humble beginnings in his urban community of Cassava Piece located in Kingston, Jamaica. Also known as the "Gully Gaad," he was mentored by Bounty Killer and broke through with the 2004 hit "Real McKoy". He is recognized for hits like "Weh Dem a Do" and his work with DJ Khaled's We the Best Music.
